Pride Week in Toronto happens mid June. Pride Week is one of Canada’s premier arts and cultural festivals and one of the largest Pride celebrations in the world.
The Toronto Jazz Festival brings Jazz to Toronto. Most of the events are indoors and can be found scattered across Toronto.
July
Toronto’s Corso Italia Festival runs early July. Over 30 live bands cover the street!
Salsa on St. Clair runs mid July bringing pure Latin energy to the people of Toronto! Live music and plenty of food to be found on the streets.
The rhythm of world beat, reggae, calypso and big band jazz music fill the air every year in July at the Beaches International Jazz Festival.

August
Caribana is a festival of Caribbean culture and traditions held each summer in the city ofToronto. It draws hundreds of thousands of tourists from around the globe, and has been billed as North America’s largest street festival, frequented by over 1.3 million visitors each year for the festival’s final parade.
Taste of the Danforth is a yearly festival held in the Greektown area along Danforth Avenue for a period of three days in August.
September
The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is a publicly-attended film festival held each September in Toronto, Ontario. The streets of Toronto are always buzzing at this time as stars sneak across Toronto. The festival begins the Thursday night after Labour Day (the first Monday in September, in Canada) and lasts for ten days. Between 300-400 films are screened at approximately 23 screens in downtown Toronto venues.
The Word on The Street Book and Magazine Festival occurs late September and offers many books at discount prices, as well as contests and prescriptions.
